Call for Artists and Altar Builders!

Calling all artists and altar builders! Creative types of all sorts needed to build altars as part of Sing for Your Life 2010!
We are calling on community artists to help create this important aspect of the Sing for Your Life event.  Historically, the altars represent a variety of faiths, traditions, cultures, religions, or no religion. We encourage collaborations of all kinds.

2010 Theme: "No Time to Waste”

This year's theme is "No Time to Waste" (though it is not required that an artist/altar-builder stick to the theme). "No Time to Waste" calls on us to take action on behalf of our families, communities, endangered species, natural systems, or ideas like Democracy, Freedom, Happiness, Purpose, and Self-Expression.

“Renewal and Release”  is also a built-in theme of the Sing for Your Life event, as it occurs at the turning of the Year.

To participate, please contact Phoebe Ackly at 510-548-6642 or Phoebe@circlesing.net  by December 15th.  Installation of altars will take place on December 29th.

We provide tables.  Do keep in mind the site will be very limited as to what you may put on the walls - no nails or staples please.
