be out-of-town on 12/30!)- "Dinosaur" Media Guru(s):
handle/coordinate newspapers, magazines, radio, tv, press releases
- Dozens of Flyer Spreaders: take a stack of
flyers to your neighborhood's places of worship, workplaces, coffee shops, etc.
- Sign Makers: offer artistic or graphic
design skills OR come to a sign-making party & help us make SFYL visually stimulating, exciting, and powerful
Day of the Event - Set-uppers
- Snack & beverage shopper
(take shopping list with $$ to local store, return with
goodies)
- Greeters
- 4 needed for
each shift: Noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm, 8pm-10pm
- 2 needed,
10pm-midnight
- Snack & water refillers
- 1 needed for each shift: Noon-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm, 8pm-10pm
- Food preppers
- Food servers & clean-uppers
- Clean-uppers
- 4 needed,10pm-1am (on call 10-12, full-out 12-1)
- Altar Builders: are you artistically/visually inclined? are you inspired
to build a large interactive altar for SFYL this year?
- Roving Photographers & Videographers: help document & capture the spirit of the event with
your photos/videos!

Street Team Coordinator for SFYL (this involves coordinating the printing
of flyers/posters & getting them to everyone to take to their neighborhoods/churches/choirs/organizations/workplaces)

During Event Altar Coordinator for SFYL (great one for a visual artist-type person
-- you call/e-mail altar-builders from previous SFYL events & coordinate them for this one! Involves making new friends/meeting
new people and being at the venue the night before the event to meet the builders for set-up) taken! by Kar :)
Day of the Event
4 Volunteer "Captains" for SFYL (volunteers report to you on the Day of the Event -- greeters,
money-takers, water-refillers, kitchen tidyers, set-uppers, clean-uppers at the event-- and you fill in if for any reason
there is a volunteer "no-show") taken! 9am-1pm: Eve; 1pm-5pm: Kar; 5pm-9pm: Laura; 9pm-1am: Danny :) "Cash $ Catcher"
for SFYL (we need you to be "the Catcher's Mitt" for the cash on the day of the event -- scoop up what
the volunteers collect at the door, write the checks (pay the venue, pay SoVoSo) -- You are "Treasurer for A Day").
